Drawing I took a one year drawing class in 2009-2010. I felt frustrated frequently at the difference between what I saw, and what I was able to render. I had a lot of fun, and have several treasured works to show for it. This one of Michael Angelo's Moses is one of my favorites. I made it on papyrus that I bought when I was in Egypt, and made it based on the sculpture that I saw in the San Pietro in Vincoli church when I was in Rome. The significance for me was the depiction of Moses on paper from the country he lead the Jews out from.
