David Vas was born in Montreal, Quebec. He has always been deeply concerned with the human condition and the sufferings of others; this is apparent in his choice of medical practice as an emergency physician as well as the subject matter of his photographic work. David is currently in the process of completing his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree, with a major in photography. His work has been included in group and solo shows mostly in Quebec.  A book of his recent images, memories of childhood, has been published as a monograph.
